A sordid black and white "tranny"of a short film that was shot over 2 days in July, NOIR is about a woman named "Mrs. Mulwray" (Marissa Viso) who is unhappy in her decadent marriage. And on the eve of her fifth anniversary, she thinks she may have found a way out with one simple phone call to two detectives(Danielle Jones and Jimmy Cunningham). But things are never what they seem in a black and white world, especially when your husband(Jonatan Lopez) is the "dirty right hand man" of a kinky, corrupt Mayor (Craig Christie Jr) and his equally kinky albeit bitchy wife(Max Xandaux). This short film closes the Houston Film Commission's First Thursday at The Fairview event. Screens around 9:15pm! No cover!

COUSINS by Mike James

Watch "Cousins," the second film by my multi-talented friend Mike James.  Starring Marissa Viso, Kyle Firmin, Francis Stokely, Heath Gresham and a guy named Jonatan Lopez.

Premise:
"Cousins" is a story about a recovering addict  in Houston who on the night he plans to propose to his girlfriend gets an unwelcome visit from two of his cousins that have murderous intentions.

FEATURED LATIN LOVERS

Mike James ( Latin Lover #1 ) is an actor, performance artist and filmmaker, he was part of "Backroad," a brilliant indie local film that hit the theaters in 2010, directed his first short in 2009 entitled "Spiked," and he is currently working on his next film project Cousins."


Marissa Viso ( Latin Lover #2 ) is one of the local queens of horror, she has been part of numerous films including "Backroad" "Suicide Notes" and "The Toy Box."



Roy V Jacob (Latin Lover # 3) has also been working around the film-scene in Houston and he is currently a professor at University of Houston.

LLC REPRESENTATIVES

Hilary Scullane ( Marketing and Sales Manager ) is a visual and performance artist, currently seeking a bachelors in Fine Arts at University of Houston.
Elizabeth McCain ( Governmental Affairs, Lobbyist ) is the main actress of indie film "Backroad." She also starts in my upcoming experimental short film "Kandy," due to be released later this year.

The Latin Lovers will be offering immediate romantic services such as "Sultry words whispered to you ears" and "One minute make out sessions" for suggested donations.

Passion related items will also be available at our auction table such as "Porn Film featuring LLC Director Jonatan Lopez getting it on with two white boys."
