The GULA Fund, a for profit performance project dedicated to better the life
of one specific Gay Undocumented Latino Artist, all the time, was launched within
the show POLITIQUEER by Voices Breaking Boundaries on December 11th 2011.
The GULA Fund auctioned a performance consisting of an unidentified GULA individual
coming to your place to mow your backyard naked and a GULA chocolate penis sculpture.
The most valuable aspect of this piece was the dialogue and reactions it sparked among
the attendees; some suggested the GULA individual should come to their home to perform
different shores such as laundry or dish-washing and no one purchased the penis sculpture.
A Gula Mowing Service performance was sold for the sum of 75 dollars.
